The ''Kulturkeller Winkel'' existed between 2017 and 2021. It emerged from the ''Jungintendanz'' (Young Artistic Direction) at Luzern Theatre. The word ''Kulturkeller'' ('culture basement') was located in the basement of Luzern Theatre. After the premises of Kulturkeller Winkel had been dismantled the remaining members of the group formed a collective by the name of Kollektiv Winkel to continue working on projects. They had theatre productions in 2022 and 2024. Currently the collective comprises eight people, not all of them being involved in all projects though.[2]
