Theatre of Mlle Guimard

Marie-Madeleine Guimard (1743-1816), a successful ballerina, had two lavish theatres, one at her summer house in Pantin and one in Paris in her hôtel Chaussée d’Antin. The latter had room for 500 people.[1]
