Theaterinsel Rosenheim

From Amateur Theatre Wiki

The "Theaterinsel" is an amateur theater group that was founded by director Toni Müller. It is located in the Bavarian town Rosenheim.

History and Purpose

Toni Müller initiated the Theaterinsel with a vision to provide a platform where theater could be practiced in its most authentic form. Apart from theater rehearsals and performances by the in-house ensemble, the Theaterinsel also offers courses in theater, acting, and language.

The registered legal organization behind the theater is "DasEnsemble e.V.", which in addition to ticket prices accepts donations.

In addition to traditional theater the Theaterinsel also hosts a regular poetry slam event called "ROSENSLAM" and a Rave called "CIRCUIT RAVE".

The Theater Hall

The theater hall at the Theaterinsel provides seating for 60 spectators. The seating arrangement, modeled after an amphitheater, ensures that every seat provides an equally good view of the stage.
