History

The Scheyerer Bühne e.V. was founded on 14th June 1991. The founding members are/ was founded by Emma Bucher, Siegfried Einödshofer, Johann Euringer, Karl Euringer, Bernhard Feuerer, Michaela Euringer, Heinrich Fischer, Hermine Gamperl, Albert Mahl, Renate Nischitz, Erwin Pfab, Anton Pillmayer, Karlheinz Reil, Hans Reith, Elke Seitz, Marianne Seitmann.

The goal of the Scheyerer Bühne e.V. firstly is to keep amateur theatre alive, as well as the bavarian dialect. The association intends to make amateur theatre and bavarian dialect visible, mainly for the Scheyerer community. The second goal is not only keeping the bavarian dialect alive, but to preserve and to promote. The club intends to show performances and organisations in bavarian dialect.

In the first eight year performances were performend in the hall of the Klostergasthof. Between 2000 and 2005 they were shown in the club house, adressed in Hochstraße. Since 2007 performances are shown in the Scheyerer theatre hall. The theatre hall was converted by the club itself.

Productions and Organisations

Scheyerer Bühne e.V. produced several performances as shown in the list below.

Besides the productions the associations organised since the beginning of the club several more cultural programs such as cabaret and music. The cabaret and music programs were organized between the years 1993 and 1999 each year in time for the traditional beer festival Starkbierfest in the restaurant of the Kloster. For that they wrote the texts themselfes. For the music programs, the own texts were relayed on popular music, called Schlagermelodien. Those organisations lasted about one hour. Since 2000 similar concepts are being organised in the club house for the Starkbierfest.

In addition to organised programs, shown at the Starkbierfest, the club aranges common visits to theatres and performances such as "Iberl- Bühne" and Chiemgauer Volkstheater.
