History

The BATV was founded in 1991 with the aim of fostering amateur theater culture in Brandenburg. A milestone in the association's history is the organization of the Brandenburgische Amateurtheatertage (BATT), a biennial festival that brings together theater groups from across the state to perform and engage in artistic exchange.
