The Verband Berliner Amateurbühnen e. V. (VBA) is an umbrella organization for amateur theater groups in Berlin. It unites a diverse range of theater forms and age groups, including children's and youth theater, student ensembles, and senior performers. The VBA's mission is to strengthen and develop amateur theater in Berlin by providing a platform for exchange and networking among its members. [1]

The VBA is the smallest regional association within the Bund Deutscher Amateurtheater e. V. (BDAT), which includes approximately 2,500 member stages organized into regional associations across Germany. [2]
